Create a study and a low-cost Home Office
Increasingly more people work from home, and we have to adapt the spaces we have to our new needs. There are also many people who have hobbies such as DIY, painting, any type of crafts… and it's great to have a site tailored to the hobbies of each one.
When I made the reform of the loft my professional situation was the work self-employed in an office, so as I was changing my work situation, I had to adapt my house. As I always say, a home must be in continuous motion, never stagnant, go forward and creating solutions depending on the personal or professional moment that you live. I've already been through several phases of transformation, and I can assure that I have always enjoyed the most of the whole process. It was very clear what he didn't further works, so with some small changes I got to first do a study to make the lamps in conditions, and now, a law firm, to organize all the papers and work with the computer.
One day fell into my hands a wooden board and a pair of sawhorses and… I lit me! Painted dark gray color table and the stands in white. I decided that the best location would be the entrance of the House, which is quite wide, with much natural light and open to the rest of the House. I took a few shelves of Ikea that had kept I decorated them with some plant and four details and this was the result.
After a while I got tired of the grey of the table and went to painting, this time in white, my colour par excellence. It Asia that now the study looks like this, neither better nor worse than before, just different.
On the wall on the other side of the table I put a bar where I hang the lamps so they dry, and put down other furniture from Ikea, which already had, I relocated it and now use it to have all the material I use hand and organized.
Tasi keeps me company while I work…
My son wanted to change your table's desk by a larger, and not a moment I hesitated in taking advantage of that didn't already, and so make a small office, next to the Studio, creating a continuity but with different functions. Create a study and a low-cost home office is not so difficult, I am delighted to result final, and more knowing that everything is used, recycled and the only thing I bought was a can of paint for wood.
